VERT Solutions recently returned from Mammoth Mountain Ski Area where they conducted demonstrations of ProCard’s functionality to the Mammoth Mountain Ski & Snowboard School (MMSSS).

Prior to the visit, VERT spent time adapting ProCard to the Siriusware resort software platform used by Mammoth Resorts.

“We built ProCard to be platform agnostic and to run from any resort software platform. Since Mammoth runs on Siriusware, and we’d not integrated with that before, this was a good chance for us to see how adaptable and robust our architecture is.”  – John Clegg, VERT Solutions CTO.

During the visit, VERT could demonstrate ProCard’s core functionality to the MMSSS as well as to Mammoth’s IT and marketing departments.

“We had to hustle to see all the people we had planned to meet. Mammoth is huge so the best way to get around is to slide. ProCard will help unite ski school and guests at the three separate base areas at Mammoth. Staff are going to benefit from being able to see real-time schedule changes, class lesson business and up-to-date guest information while on-snow.” – Dan Miller, VERT Solutions CEO

ProCard is a ski school management application designed to maximize instructor efficiency, free up supervisory staff and enhance guest engagement. ProCard is optimized for mobile devices and on-snow use providing employee users with real-time information on guest bookings, class lesson business, schedule changes and much more.

By utilzing microservices, VERT has been able to quickly adapt ProCard to Siriusware without a major overhaul to the ProCard platform.

“Designing the system around microservices and interfaces has really paid off. So far, we’ve replicated all the basic functionality that we have with our other platform integrations by modifying only a few components” – John Clegg, VERT Solutions CTO.
